That's very cool, the EU has a lot to learn regarding direct democracy--I wonder if the refugee crisis would have happened at all if people were asked if they wanted to accept the refugees or not.

Anybody knows what software do professional script writers (the ones working for the industry) use? I've seen the screenplay format and I don't believe they do all of that by hand; it would be tedious.

I hate that it is asynchronous now. I liked it back before when you talked to someone who was online and you knew he was engaged in the conversation. Now all of that is gone. As you say "I'll just reply later"—I hate that.
