The whole concept of a short string with supposedly random characters to use as a security measure is bizarre. Why care how it's stored, it does not matter.
I think it will kill magazines and certain media. Where you used to pay more for what you wanted, that did cover the cost of that particular media, your interest plus more. If people now only want to and will pay for what they are interested in, part of the magazine will no longer be able to cover its costs.
I've been shouting this since the rise of Joomla, Wordpress, and other sort a like stuff. And it really give an initial bad feeling about a product to see the number X clone of a particular site layout etc.
The point of SSL is that traffic can't be snooped easily, and regardless of EV or domain validated, that works just as fine. EV is just another scam to charge more. It has no added value, just a nice green bar, which is a topping marketing scam.
omfg how much crack did you smoke before you wrote that piece of .. text
"Let’s end the hamburger era" -- this kind of recommendation/ motivational stuff is what is wrong with the world. You don't like something, YOU don't do it. Don't force your ideas upon others, no matter how good you think they are.
Because some self proclaimed wise ass people on HN think you didn't contribute to the post, asked obvious questions etc.
HN is retarded, and it's user base declining in quality faster then bill cosby's reputation.
People can post the most trivial scripts and ask for attention no problem. But ask a simple question, and you get down voted, welcome to hacker news.
HN, where companies as cloudflare, qualys etc advertise like no other, to report their Xth so called vulnerability report or way how to protect yourself using their services.
Same as this post, even though i know the author typo fix, i disagree completely. You have _NO RIGHTS_ to be forgotten, the person who remembers decides what will be forgotten or not.
This is the right to have data deleted that are in relation of your person and might effect you negatively. This has nothing to do with being forgotten. The hope is that when the data is deleted, people will forget, but there is not such thing as to have a 'right to be forgotten'.
People think that the above exists, need to wake up.
To get rich?!
