I don't understand why people keep comparing AI to calculators, tbh. I remember a couple of years back when Photomath, an app that lets you point your camera at any math problem and solves it for you, came out. Nobody said, "Ahh, it's just like a calculator, don't worry about it." So why are we making that argument with LLMs when it's pretty clear that most AI companies think humans are just a bunch of worthless meat sacks who can be replaced with a bunch of Markdown files and a transformer?
