IF YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THAT ALL CAPS IS SHOUTY, then it is easy to follow that all lower is a whisper, informal, casual way to talk. there are people who dislike all caps, i do too. i feel even capitalizing the first part of nouns and such grammar is shouty. yup. different people have different sensitivities for different things. i always liked all lower, also picked it from python_programming for a decade. so i am happy for this trend.
It swings both ways for me. Either super comfortable or uncomfortable.
What doesn't work is hiring a virtual assistant to hold me accountable. As soon as I pay them and they report to me, they are the same loop as my own brain. No empathy brain! :D. This is bleak I know.

There are two kinds of bugs: the rare, tricky race conditions and the everyday “oh shucks” ones. The rare ones show up maybe 1% of the time—they demand a debugger, careful tracing, and detective work. The “oh shucks” kind where I am half sure what it is when I see the shape of the exception message from across the room - that is all the rest of the time. I don't have citation, but I concur with the GP, I grew up in the east, and it is far easier to socialize and also form deep friendships because everything is said out in the open and not hidden behind layers of decorum.
