Those two factors alone indicate that it’s more a mutually beneficial relationship between SpaceX and the government with, arguably, SpaceX providing more benefit relative to the government.
“Normal” and “common” would still be the last words on my mind considering the amount of planning and money that goes into sending people to space and back. The only normal situation would be they go there and then back alive on the same mission as originally planned. Any divergence from that is totally abnormal.
It helps though with remembering where you are in your codebase. Rather than cluttering my brain with the info that Nerdtree provides, I can instead use the extra brainpower for other things.
The problem with auto updates for daemons and services is that the maintainer cannot possibly account for all the different ways their software is used to be able to guarantee that the new version doesn’t break some critical service. It’s akin to a team outsourcing their CI/CD pipeline to some 3rd party who have no idea they exist!
As for money markets, don’t those get invested in treasury bills/notes anyway? Why go through a “middleman” when one has enough volume to invest directly?
Short-term obligations may not provide the yield that their financial structure requires.
10-year notes, in certain situations, provide an optimal combo of yield and risk. Provided, of course, that nothing major happens to the economy which wasn’t the case here. Then again, who’s good at predicting that?
In the end, it seemed like, given what was true at the time the decision was made, SVB made a rational choice.
I love the zero-install feature for sure! I noticed that SLIDES.md could also be read directly so I’m curious if we could just rename it to README.md and then, probably as an option, tell Slidesdown to load that file instead.

When you say “Marketing” do you really mean just the subsets “Marketing Communications,” and “Sales,” or do you also mean the things needed to find product-market fit?
