Crimea is de jure in Ukraine per international consensus. Crimea is de facto occupied by Russia. These are orthogonal statements are both valid. Everything else you listed derives from these premises.
This. We need nuclear to keep the base load green. Wind and solar need batteries to be base load providers. Building out both battery and renewable infrastructure at the same time is a tall order.
At the office several of my coworkers use a service in which they rent cloths. Kinda oike Netflix was for DVDs. You pick a few you like, they send them over and next month you send them back. All for a monthly fee.

Rather its that the goverment funded development resulted in a bad product. People reimplementing it in a their spare time resulted in an even better product.
