I built ScribblePadGames as a small offline project with my kid.
Why? Just imagine sitting in a restaurant waiting for food — the kids get bored, you don’t want to hand them your phone, and there’s nothing to do.
ScribblePadGames are tear-off notepads with simple pen-and-paper games like Battleships, Labyrinths, Boxes, or Soccer. They fit in a bag, need only a pen, and turn waiting time into playtime.
It’s 100% screen-free, ad-free, and AI-free — just a bit of analog fun we designed together.
We’re currently testing different game sets and packaging ideas. Feedback on the concept, design, or even the “offline-first” philosophy is very welcome.
Hi there, my side project created to learn Svelte. To/Since date countdown timers. Private - data is saved in browser storage. No ads, no login, no nothing just time passing by.
Thanks. Answering your questions this is a custom implementation entirely based on AWS serverless stack + Braintree payment. Although in retrospective I would probably go with Shopify + custom plugin.
Regarding Instagram approval I had no problems with getting approved. I may change now after Facebook replaced Instagram API with their own. However, we had a lot of problems getting prod approval from Braintree Payments. It took me over 1 month to finally be able to process payments.
