i feel like this entire .txt was drafted by GPT. it contains enough of what a LLM would already know about knuth, wolfram, wolfram alpha/language, etc.
Or you can just have the world’s simplest API by design possible… An API can just be obvious endpoint documentation made super simple. https://api.corgi.cam/v1/
I'm pessimistic enough to think that nowadays, due to social requirements for the saturated startup scene, that classic story of a single tech founder being matched with their biz cofounder via joining an incubator/accelerator is merely a myth of bygone days.
three is a 3d engine (ish) - famo.us tries to also provide ui layers and such in a complete framework (that allegedly also includes physics, the works, etc)
i wish that there wasn't a double standard where open source is expected to be well-documented or elegant (etc). (especially for smaller scale projects that don't have the infrastructure / time)
for OSS projects that are hard(er) to read, the question goes - why hasn't the community helped clean it up / document / etc?
summary: P/E too positive, hence acquisitions needed on the #BillionDollarNonsense
also, when your company is offered billions of dollars, I guess it's to not repeat Groupon's mistake of keeping principle and not letting it be bought... the chances of it IPO-ing that much are low. :(
A lot of people are skeptical about the 3D art-creational capabilities of the iPad. Here is a rather impressive app that disproves that camp, producing generative art that looks like realistic trees you might find in the best of 3d simulators or even AAA games... which you can then export to fbx, taking it to both of the before!
The app is designed to be accessible to those who are not familiar with algorithmic botany - you can twist and pull some pretty unique and nice looking trees on this. But, if you know your maths, things can get even more interesting. ;)
Spent Christmas weekend playing with this iPad app (on a now-antiquated iPad 2), with both my finger and a Pogo Connect... and now I have a mini bonsai being 3D printed on Shapeways... created completely on my iPad! :D
i guess amazon no longer needs the naturally free publicity from having 90% of CDN content URLs being of the format xxx.s3.amazonaws.com ... you can now have CDN URLs that look like xxx.yourdomain.com :O ... AMAZING!!!
well, let's hope adding domain hosting to amazon doesn't add to further downtime.
Uniqueness blurb proposal: A community-focused conference organized and conceived by two app developers, about the app development movement as a new Renaissance.
