5 years to Canadian citizenship is a strong reason to stay. Indians on H1B in the US are looking at about 7-10 years for a Greencard, and then an additional 5 years after that for citizenship.
As a datapoint: I immigrated to the US in 2008. After 5 years on an F1 visa and 10 years on an H1B, I'm still at least 10 more years away from being freed from the immigration and visa hassle.
Yeah, Chaos Monkey 2.0 is what I based kube-monkey off of. However, from what I can tell (and I may be wrong), Chaos Monkey will only work if you're running Spinnaker on Kubernetes, right? It seems like it still takes actions on instances of ASG etc.
kube-monkey is meant to do the same for those running just Kubernetes. It will look for Kubernetes pods and kill them.

And even with Uber around, you can still do that. No one's taken that choice away. Use Lyft/Uber if you're comfortable with it. If not, user a regular cab.
I spend 10-16 hours in front a monitor too (work + come back home, watch movies etc.). After getting flux[0], I immediately noticed a marked difference in how much lesser my eyes were tired by the end of the day.
It takes a day or two to get used to the yellow tint that flux adds, but it makes the screen so much easier to look at. After using flux for a while, you'll be surprised how much a monitor not running flux hurts your eyes - it just feels jarringly bright.
Agreed. My $100 Garmin GPS tells me what the speed limit is, an what speed I'm doing. I've often wondered why this wasn't just built into cars to ensure they throttle lock at the speed limit.
Until Dart is natively supported in Browsers (which might take several years, at the very least), it is going to be cross compiled to Javascript before being shipped to the end -user.
Knowing and understanding javascript and it's intricacies will be invaluable to writing and debugging good Dart code.
