I just graduated 2 weeks ago. There is so much to learn of what is useful, and feels like very little time to do it. Getting proficient with a language that is up and coming (Golang has been my choice lately), and then follow it up with an idea super hot today (machine learning, big data?).

Did you graduate from an non-Chinese university, and then move to China? Or always had an in?

If you don't mind commenting, what factors made you realize that you hated it 2 months in?

I'm in a similar boat, going to a startup (50~ people, 2.5 years), so this would be useful :)

I've never used wit.ai, can you give me a rundown of how it works? I usually use spacy.io, where it instantiates an NLP on your local machine.

PS: Should your config.py have the access token?

This will have a pretty bad effect on the company's morale. Depending on how long this layoff occurs for (1 month vs 1 year), everyone will feel extremely uneasy going into work knowing today's possibly the last day.

Would you have liked to reverse that order? Go to the startup first, then go to corporate. Or stay in a startup(s)?
