"It has pushed me to reconsider. The number 1 company I want to work for instead is Uber mostly because of it's astounding growth -> I'm more likely to get rich."
Ask yourself how likely ? Is it 50% or more like 1% ? I know very little about Uber, mind you.
Hype (partially) is a factor. Others are :
- Fear of missing out on the "next" facebook.
- Investors are risk averse. They tend to flock in to deals where other investors are already in.
- Disruptive market technology (with huge potential payout) -> invest a lot -> get bigger equity/ownership percentage and then make some big returns.
I believe the system should mimic the email system:
- a simple unique identifier. Eg: [email protected], [email protected]
- any mail client would do
- mail content (amount and currency details)
Paypal does this but:
- it is fairly convoluted process now
- requires Paypal software (website or app)
Priority list ? Good idea. I have a JIRA instance for my project with all tasks though none of them are prioritised. It might seems slightly overkill but I guess I could use it to prioritise task/issues with it.
PS: Lumberjack ? Are you the one who wrote the Cocoa Lumberjac logging API by any chance ?
