Any torrent veteran knows it's [uTorrent 2.2.1] better than whatever most of the top commenters propose. Folks, you don't always have to upgrade, especially when the upgrade is simply a revenue stream for THEM.
Didn't know it was consensus but 2.2.1 will max out your DL and UL without the BS malware. I have been using bittorrent since before uTorrent so there's a reason I stuck with 2.2.1.
