We are upgrading our Figma UI Kit for Angular Material Components from version 14 to 17 and developing a UI Builder that can read a Figma mockup (UI screen) built using our UI Kit and convert it into an Angular component, allow a developer to perform data binding, preview the component on various devices, and export the Angular code.
The value proposition is to significantly reduce the time a UI developer takes to re-implement a Figma mockup in Angular.
From what we understand, around 50% of Angular teams use Angular Material exclusively, and 50% of Angular teams use UI Designers.
Before we go ahead and spend months upgrading the UI Kit and developing the UI Builder, we want to understand whether or not Figma Designers / Angular devs among you would potentially use them.
Yup, that's what I thought, but I have been hearing of late of situations where professional developers are being asked to work on proprietary low-code (not no-code) platforms such as OutSystems, Mendix, and others. Therefore, I was curious to how much of this is true.
Boilerplate code is generated using templates. Templates are written by humans. Therefore, if the templates are good, the quality of the code would be good as well.
