You know you are going to get upvotes when you mention you based it on Paul Graham's writings. :) But thanks for the tips and pointers. I think you don't give yourself enough credit -- if the idea wasn't a good one, nobody would be asking you to launch it in their country. So job 1 is to have a compelling product and then things become easier all around the globe. GL Seth Cohen

hear hear! if there is a tried and true formula for successful entrepreneurship, then VC returns would not be as miserable as they are. it is not youth per se, it is not even naivete that is required for successful entrepreneurs, but unremitting and relentless optimism. people with optimistic outlooks can be found at every age cohort, but will not be found in every Stanford engineering grad. as winston churchill said, success is measured by our ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures. some young people haven't learned that yet because they haven't really failed enough times. some old people have that in spades. thanks for posting.

Zubin -- this looks very interesting and I wish you lots of success. A friend of mine recently suggested we should build such a service and I am glad to report back to him, someone has ("glad" because I was already working on my own start-up). I would suggest allowing for instantaneous deletes as well -- so as soon as the consumer opens the message, poof, it is gone -- one-time only. That was his use case scenario and we riffed on that for quite some time.
