I also built a tool to help me study Spanish. I really like the idea of shadowing, so I built a tool that lets you take any YouTube video and generate a sentence-by-sentence exercise to help you repeat the speaker's phrases.
A voice agent calls you on your phone, and you talk with them for about 4-5 min per day to practice language immersion. Using the Twilio API and the OpenAI model.
There are issues with interrupting the agent and the high costs of calling non-US numbers. I don't think it will be a commercial business, but it's fun to play with the technology.
LeadSparkLabs is an agency that assists small and medium-sized businesses in generating more leads by quickly creating customized Lead Magnet Mini Apps. These mini apps are designed to engage your target audience and convince them to give you their email.
Did you build an awesome Codepen and you want to share it on social media as video. Just send me the URL I'll send you back the video (well the API will).
My initial idea comes from converting html5 banner ads to videos. This way, you could reuse them on platforms with video ads. Or you could create a simple preview to share it on social media. I think CodePen does this when you share it on Twitter.
I'm also working on solving a similar problem - how to export web animations to mp4 videos.
I'm building an API that takes any URL, and using Headless Chrome; I record a screen and export the video to mp4.
I would appreciate any feedback if you would find something like this useful.
I'm from a small Europen country. I watched a loot of English cartoons and movies when I was in primary school. I never really put time into studying English, and my grades were below average. But I was always able to understand and communicate in English better than my friends. I still struggle with spelling and forming proper sentences. Sometimes I found myself stutter, or I get lost in the middle of a sentence. I work for an English-speaking remote company, and I communicate with coworkers on a daily basis. I think I'm pretty introverted in my native language. Usually, I just don't pay enough attention when speaking to people. But when I use English, I have to put that little extra effort into following a conversation that is showing up as me asking more questions and being a more active participant in the discussion. This is no a 100% rule, but something a noticed over the years.
Hello.
Me and my friend build this in last couple of weeks. If any one have questions or any kind of feedback, feel free to write a comment or send us an email.

Stuff I need to work on: - It only works with videos that have auto-generated captions - It works best with monologue videos
