I want to love the Kindle Fire (just like a bunch of people do). But from a technical standpoint, $200 can't hold up to the iPad (although they are still overpriced--the iPads that is ;). The load times on the Fire are quite slow, the physical package is a bit iffy (and that's compared to the slimmer iPad 2), and the overall UX is just not too friendly....it is definitely an improvement, and if you want a 'sexier' cheaper tablet-esque option...this is a good choice--but it's not a tablet in totality.
Will upvote as well. What I would suggest--to get even more attention--is have some sort of trailer or 'short' to get people interested.
I think the focus as suggested above should be on making a raw, "real," depiction of start-up life (Peter Thiel is making a video supposedly with the same general idea...but it's very likely it will be too "hollywood").
They recently opened up this program again. $100k for 2 years of leaving school/college. Not sure if it holds up to the likes of YC (lots of the recipients have no tech backgrounds in the first batch), but a few of the recipients from the first class are pretty stellar (the Yale kids and Andrew Hsu for example).
I'm pretty excited that Youtube has decided to update (and no, this is not another April Fools prank ;). I haven't fully decided how I personally feel about it (the filters do seem more personalized), but it most definitely has a Google+ flavor to it--which again, may or may not be a good thing.
Comments like this from Peter provoke people to respond. Plain and simple. Rather than criticizing why he "thinks" the iPhone hasn't broken any boundaries, maybe he should "go-out" and stimulate more than "just 500 employees" at once (aka his reference to Twitter).
