I think Wagtail is better suited for sites that want a lot more control over the base HTML, page output and data models.

WordPress may be a bit directly comparable to https://www.coderedcorp.com/cms/

It's just a few extensions on Wagtail that let you get started with common page models for blogging and generic websites out of the box.

I often think of Wagtail as a framework for building your CMS, where as WordPress is a pre-built CMS.

Alpine actually uses the Vue reactivity model under the hood.

I like the idea of it but for what I work on the CSP non-compliance is a deal breaker (their CSP compatible build is not ready and you lose most of the alpine benefits).

I think that Stimulus JS offers many of the same benefits and provides a nice abstraction for making one 'element' contain multiple behaviours.

My wife and I worked remotely (~4 days a week) and we traveled the world. South east Asia, Europe, US and back via Asia to end the year home in Australia. It was an awesome year, saw some incredible places and also got to work on some interesting Dev projects. I had a chance to get a few open source PRs through to a Python CMS and towards the end of the year got invited to join the core development team. Getting more involved with open source has been lots of fun, seeing how bigger teams work together and also actually contributing some complex (for me) fixes has been great.

Discover Meteor is great - another recommendation.

Recently rebuilt a client app in Meteor, ran into a few hurdles that I think are just part of the learning curve.

http://www.meteorpedia.com/ is in pretty active development, lots of links and the guys who run it are active on the Google Group also.
