From my reading of Balanced documentation, its on_behalf_of parameter allows a fledgling app to lean on Balanced for accounting.
"in order to determine how much money you owe a specific merchant, you can easily query and all the outstanding debits tied to this merchant and subtract the payouts you've already done to the merchant."
This seems like a nice advantage of Balanced especially if you don't want to go the Stripe connect route.
A feature that I wish Gmail would copy from Outlook.com is the ability to auto delete emails after a certain time. I have all email tagged with the intelligent Social updates category delete after three days.
I use Gmail and Outlook to manage different email accounts. The Outlook.com inbox has smart categories which are similar to these new Gmail categories/tabs. Instead of tabs across the top like Gmail, Outlook.com has Quick Views on the left hand side which activate the category filter.
Hopefully Gmail will allow you to customize what is filtered by their smart categories like Outlook.com does today.
I got started designing websites using FW MX 2004 before I graduated to writing CSS first. The ability to mockup designs and then use the slice export feature was great fun. I love Fireworks.
Hey I really like this app. Thanks for keeping a very simple style with the comments. I would like the ability to vote and write comments. Looking forward to the live tile updates. Also it would be cool to integrate the native sharing options to quickly share a link.
I like how their API is similar to Twilio. I'm interested to some of the use cases that the FreeSWITCH platform allows, especially with Skype and Google Voice.
As a first time car buyer one and a half years ago TrueCar gave me confidence during negotiations. In my case I didn't use it to determine a no dicker price with the dealer. Instead it was the basis for my walk away price and counter offer.
I don't mind using Best Buy as a show room when they seem to have plenty of customers unwilling to do a simple google comparison shop before they leave for the store.
As long as wireless routers and HDMI cables continue to be foreign concepts to most consumers, brick and mortars like Best Buy will stick around.
