Big supporter of renewables, but what's missing here is the make up of what's getting imported. The overnight baseline appears to still be majority imports from, I assume, non-renewables?
In Canada we have something like this.. Flex Delivery. Let's you just enter the address of the nearest postal outlet to you. Boxes are left at that depot, you get a notification when it's ready for pickup.
Edit: since our gov't postal service is teamed up with a pharmacy/general store (Shoppers Drugmart), there's a tonne of convenient locations. Closest one to me is 4 blocks, on my drive home from work.
We solved this by issuing company owned and controlled laptops to our contractors.
Disk encryption, screen time outs, remote wipe etc. contractor machines with code and production access are treated as critical assets and are fully under IT control.

7shifts is employee scheduling software designed specifically for restaurants. We help managers and operators spend less time and effort scheduling their staff, reduce their monthly labor costs and streamline team communication.
Totally agree. There’s so many missing redundancies on this project. CTO / Dir. Eng should have their own card. They should have some contact with a Google account rep, and at least the basic support package.
We’re not a big Google customer, couple thousand a month, but when we migrated we instantly reached out to account reps and have regular quarterly check ins.

We're a restaurant scheduling platform working on scheduling, performance, and communication for restaurants.
We just closed a $4.5m CAD funding round that we're using to fuel our growth and tech expansion into integration work with our Point of Sale partners. We're doing some interesting stuff with behaviour and receipt data to help restaurants optimize their operations, and most importantly retain their staff.
Validated business model, multi-mm ARR, 20 engineering staff, 45 total in the company.
Prairie funding is changing pretty quickly, at least here in SK. We don't really focus on getting SK-money, but we've had great funding and interest from Toronto, Chicago and some Valley funding. Locality didn't matter to any of our investors as much as what the plan and growth strategies are.
We're 7shifts, a Canada based, California venture backed company focusing on solving interesting problems in the restaurant space. We focus on scheduling, communication and evaluation of a restaurant's operation.
Tech stack for our web/API is PHP7, MySQL, nginx. Native mobile apps (swift, java).
Saskatoon, SK & Toronto, ON Canada. Onsite. Potential remote positions.

You'll probably find that Canada is in there for free. If you guys use the same Intuit link that Level uses, you'll probably find "Royal Bank of Canada" and "Royal Bank of Canada (US)" in the list of supported institutions. Level worked great in Canada if you went through the effort of downloading it from the US AppStore.
