The iPhone user experience for messaging with Android users (especially MMS) is awful and the Android users in the group chat get blamed for it. Having blue text bubbles show up when someone texts you can be seen in some circles as a status symbol.
As a self-taught, formerly inexperienced programmer, my advice to you is to apply. In the early stages of a programming career, you want to try to get a job you're underqualified for. That's where you will grow the most. Don't be scared off by what it says in the job posting. I've never met all the qualifications of any job I've ever gotten.
Yes. Looking at it, it has a listing of jobs in non-US countries looking specifically for foreign (including US) workers in my field. At a glance I saw multiple jobs that I would be interested in applying for.

It should be noted that the traffic to that site at that point was nearly 100% search traffic looking for a specific data point and the content on the page was tables of data, not an article. I would assume that a site with an engaging article would have a much smaller bounce rate.
