Thanks for the feedback, related artists' songs would be interesting - would be possibly using their API. Yes currently it's just search queries. Expanding the songs to source from e.g. multiple playlists is something I'll be working on.
Coming from iTunes I really liked the Smart Playlist feature so I created an app to create and push them to Spotify. It currently only uses Songs you've saved to "Your Music" but I plan to expand it to use other sources such as specific playlists.
Not great that on the homepage you're greeted with "IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTICE" with a massive security vulnerability in previous versions. Obv. that stuff happens but not a good start.
I would personally go the ebook route, getting people to sign up for a recurring membership to a site that may or may not be frequently updated would probably be the biggest hurdle.
A one-off payment for something they can download and keep is much more appealing imho.
Regarding the piracy issue, try ways of dynamically creating a PDF that will embed the users name & address in the footer of each page. Seen it done before and can act as a deterrent.
I'm currently reading the 1st book after watching the show and wished I'd read it first. Brilliant story and I think the show does an amazing job of converting the books to screen however it would of been great to compare what I interpreted in the books to what they've created on screen.
Great idea, I'm a web developer and would find it really useful for demoing client projects before launch so they can point out anything they're unhappy with. What have you used to create it out of interest?
I launched TV Show Tracker (http://www.tvshowtracker.co.uk) at the start of July, it began as a personal app just for me but expanded it for multiple users as an experiment.
Built using CakePHP & the Skeleton CSS boilerplate. Any feedback would be great.
