Industrially produced bread: freeze (sliced) and toast when needed or eat fresh. Never fridge.
Home baked: eat fresh use the leftovers for puddings, or blend and freeze and use as breadcrumbs for cooking.
https://gailsbread.co.uk/ Gail's bakery is the only place I know in the UK that can mass produce excellent bread. Their book is excellent.
Of course there are many excellent artisan producers everywhere too...
Cancer Urology Surgeon friend of mine (UK) was down in X ray chatting to one of the radiologist over lunch. Apparently they’ve noticed that on scans they’ve been doing on people for other (i.e. non lung) reasons
They’ve noted that virtually EVERYONE young and old, have lung fibrosis
Yes. I was looking up some specific data on the UK debt - google gave me wiki and .gov bing gave me the national debt clock and trading economics debt to gdp.
At least that stood out.
I think for many average users - google is like going to a library and asking for a book. Except what they don't realise is that the librarian is following them around and checking what they are interested in. The librarian is also being paid to recommend certain books and is programmed to choose aggravating, polarising, less informative content.
I think the issue is 99% of users won't go and use several 'librarians' when researching. They just use Google.
I have something like this too. I first noticed it at boarding school aged 13/14. My peers put it to the test - I could identify with 100% accuracy who was on their period. Not sure this 'power' as ever been useful though. Air fresheners, scented candles all make me feel sick and agitated. However I LOVE the smell of petrol. More recently and worryingly I have noticed the distinct smell of sick people. My father had a weird smell the last time I saw him and it worried me... He has just been diagnosed with COPD.
(incidentally I used to code, now I am a private chef).
About 11 years ago I ran a script that deleted everything I ever posted on facebook. It worked well for a while and then it started to scramble leaving bizarre posts with huge timeline gaps. I had to manually delete the rest.
I also un-followed everyone and everything. It took days - since then facebook has been a wonderful tool for me to keep in touch with distant friends and it is still used by many in my social groups for organising gatherings.
Ultimately I know mostly just use it for work. I get quite a lot of business from Facebook connections.
My advice: delete the news feed and un-follow but keep your connections.
This could be a mega boon to the UK as micro satellites are set to kick off in a big way. Uist and Shetland are terrible locations though - even Sutherland is a ball-ache to get to.
Everyone should cool their jets though, the SNP will make a balls up of this. They only have one goal, which is independence. There isn't a single competent SNP MSP.
They took away the bridge tolls to help them win votes during election time and then had to borrow money to pay for a new bridge while the old one disintegrated due to lack of maintenance funding.
Do these morons sound like they can handle a spaceport?
How anyone can look/listen to Nicola Sturgeon and be filled with confidence makes me shudder.
