We have mandatory code reviews. Anyone can code review anyone else's commit. This is working great for us, even junior programmers are being able to make some good points on other's code.
I am an android user, so only thing I can ask is: why another photo sharing app? Obviously you have the talent to create cool stuff, I would invest the time doing so. Sorry if I sounded like a jerk
