Neither is anyone forced to visit your insecure website, and people are less likely to visit if they are welcomed with "This connection is not private, attackers might be trying to steal your ..."

If not it seems like openAi and others also collect how you interact with their models, and the claims of the privacy nightmares of the chinese tech seems a bit stark, while the US doesn't seem to be doing a lot better.
While I can see this preventing many of the current issues, I can't help but wonder who will serve the interests of the people that are not allowed to vote.
Would it be a better system if the not-allowed group is totally dependent on the people that are allowed to vote?
Unfortunately the numbers are not circular :( By offsetting the initial number, the binary search does not work optimally right? Imagine the number is below 50, and you start by guessing 60, now you have to search for 30 numbers instead of 25, and thus the binary search is not optimal.
