Hey! I thought I’d show you deets.co - it’s a new personal about page platform that I’ve been creating over the past month. It’s been created of the back of finding the alternatives in this space a little cumbersome to deal with. I’m sure there is stuff I’m getting wrong but hopefully over time can continue to refine it.
One of the things that aggitated me about the likes of about.me was the fact everything had to be defined beforehand. You want to add a quote then you got to go to the (paid) quote blocks - this feels clunky and for me personally it restricted my writing flow. I personally find writing about myself hard enough without the blocks along the way. With Deets it’s a visual editor when you type and paste in media as you see fit.
Also critically importantly to me is the fact a lot of about page hosting platforms seem to to forget that when it comes to an about page it should be focused on the person it’s talking about. A lot of them plaster big navigation menus or “sign up here” buttons on the page and I think that visually distracts.
It’s also priced fairly (well free at the moment). From my previous startups I’ve always found the first few months should be focused on building up a great free product and then listening to the feedback from users about what they’d then pay for.
StatusCake does support web hooks, along with 10 other integrations including fully supporting advance alert routing. We also have all the features of major monitoring services as well as virus scanning, domain monitoring, SSL certificate monitoring and so many other features.
I mean, we also have a free plan that gives you monitoring (and hooks) along with a wide range of features for an unlimited amount of sites!
Come check us out at https://www.statuscake.com - we do have Pagerduty integration via the API (It's not full featured yet to be honest, but I'd say within the next few weeks we'll have an even better connection)

Adding more features daily!
Thanks guys Dan.
