This is a signature move from Boies, although Jacobs name appears first. All throughout the SCO Vs. Novell litigation Boies tried to end run the judge's viewpoints by introducing late, obscure and illegal motions.
It's interesting to note that the litigator who won the case for Novell (Jacobs), while working for Oracle seems to be running a typical Boies play, the type of which probably factored strongly in the outcome of the SCO Vs. Novell case. If I had the clout that Ellison has, no way in hell I'd want Boies on my team given how he fucked up the SCO litigation so badly.
I'd settle for a hacker news hardware upgrade instead, I keep wondering if someone plugged me into an analogue modem with these 30 second page load times. I guess that's the price of popularity.

I object to this claim. I don't think you can claim to be authoritative about any sphere of influence if all you have to offer is aggregation and rehashing of existing public knowledge.
In reality there are very few authoritative publications, and those few that find themselves as such are certainly not weblogs.

I think neutral readers are smart enough to see your pervasive trolling and love of ignorant apples to oranges comparisons for what they are.
My money is that you work for an organisation that competes with Google (you habitually troll almost any Google thread), you work on a competing language project, or perhaps both. In either case your trolling is really getting pretty desperate.
