The reason seems to be making it more editable to the community.
It's kind of funny ESR didn't put on git, or in a wiki, or similar given his open source proclivities.
Among the reason to not like him, but far from the best, but a good reason to pot the thing on github for those who do wish to contribute.
There's the project gutenberg edition on there too, though it is out of date.
HTML is more well known and more easily editable than latex, and love323 seems to just be reproducing the jargon file in latex as an exercise ) rather than providing an easily update able public repository for it (just guessing at his intentions as he didn't have a readme, which this one does.)
You say "professional hacker" to refer to yourself a lot, but as far as I can tell all you did was use someone else's product.
Where is the hacking in that?
Hacking is creative problem solving. You used a product for its intended purpose.
That's called being a consumer, not a hacker.
lame.
self masturbatory article.

The American market iphone price is distorted by contract entrapment scams that service carriers use.
Basically they give you an underpriced phone if you sign a 2 year contract and then pack the cost of the phone into the contract through extra fees and costs.
"very large majority" hrmph let's see 10% market share in the PC market and 20% in the phone market?
(These numbers were culled from a few quick googles)
Way to be self centric, dude.
"The majority of my computer crap is apple, thusly a very large majority uses apple products"
LOL at the "Everything was better in a magical time that never existed, but my faulty memory has synthesized from biscuit commercials i saw as a child."
ramanujan: no one blames door manufacturers for break ins and there has never been a time when it was wise to leave your door unlocked.
