I think Warren is fantastic but I feel like her argument for Amazon is flawed and I'm curious to hear counter arguments.
In her example of Amazon being a platform and information aggregator, wouldn't a brick & mortar grocery chain like Safeway/Vons/CVS be guilty of the same anti-competitive practices when they sell "Safeway Brand Fruity Os" next to Kellogg Fruit Loops?
Businesses seem to have been able to be platforms and information aggregators for a very long time and we've had plenty of innovation and competition
When I was a 21 year old with a fledgling startup, Geoff kept a promise to me several years later that he definitely didn't need to and had barely any incentive to. He did it because he is a man of his word and I owe much of the opportunity I have in my career because of his integrity and that choice to keep it. Congrats Geoff! And THANKS!!!
This is fascinating. Selfishly though this seems to signal for investors of index funds (such as myself) that they will only continue to be good investments unless major government regulation occurs.
Does anyone know of any investment risk to index funds if everyone is now doing it?

Although there is still tons of money going to actively managed funds it seems to be more and more common knowledge that index fund investing is ultimately the smartest thing to do for personal finance.
Does anyone know what the risk factors are (if any) to this type of passive investing if EVERYONE begins to do the same thing?
I would personally seek Michael's advice when I was in the S15 batch because of how earnest his advice was. Even for companies outside his group you could really tell the effort he would give to provide quality guidance. One example of how much Michael cares was in the days before our demo day, I was the first to come in at 8AM and Michael literally had slept on the couch having stayed up all night providing feedback the night before. He comes out of the partners office, sits down, and has me pitch maybe 10 minutes after he probably woke up :) Congrats!
Great idea thanks for sharing! Using gmail as a journal though does seem to contradict the message in this article because by using Gmail, while it is extremely efficient, it's not 100% private. Maybe it's just my own paranoia but I feel like you would even more fall into that disconnect "between what I thought I was supposed to feel (what a normal person would feel) and what I actually felt." Or maybe I'm interpreting this article incorrectly?
I signed up blindly out of curiosity! Agree that some context on the service needs to be added. I love the simplicity and feel. Reminds me a lot of medium and I've actually often caught myself journaling on medium by accident because it's so easy to do.

Has our society really come to simply throwing money on paying two separate third parties to order FOOD? I use Magic, to use Postmates, to get Chipotle?! No offense but I feel like this is the most first world solution I've ever encountered. Congrats on the success and traffic though and best of luck on executing.
