Bitly has always interested me because it looks like it would be such a simple project, but there are obviously interesting scaling problems to be solved at Bitly.
SevOne's careers page says that a Bachelor's degree is a requirement. How strict is SevOne (or any other company, for that matter) on this requirement? Do you know of any software engineers that don't have a degree?
It's a minimalist blog written in Python called Logr. I posted it on HN, but there was almost no response. The code is hosted on GitHub at http://github.com/brewerhimself/Logr.
I hadn't considered that some posts may fall into multiple categories, but I'll give it some thought. In the mean time, just choose whichever category works better.
The internship will absolutely haved to be payed, and payed fairly at that. My skills aren't the greatest, but I'm not willing to work for $10/hr.
