Not disagreeing on the above, I agree quite strongly in fact. It’s important we are critical of our own tribes.
Your final question though is maybe worth a challenge. Why can’t both sides be in the wrong? I always find we are quick to make a problem quite polar without accepting the grey mush in between.
In this case, China has similarly also demonstrated its far reaching and abusive capabilities when given the opportunity (my thoughts around belt-and-road, Tibet, Uighurs and its own treatment of its people in its past). Your point on china not being in a war is also one that can be challenged, proxy wars have and continue to be a thing. China has played their part and continue contributing to active conflicts.
So it turns out the numbers are all valid. With or without AI they just misinterpreted the data. But indeed 2.9 billion records were stolen, whoever wrote this just clearly misunderstood that an individual could have more than 1 record associated to their person.
Outside of those mission requirements you mentioned there are also some limitations in any cryo cooled liquids onboard.

As a result it’s less a question of how often can they delay the launch and more a question of how long can the rocket stay out on the pad for you to delay into.

The author is discussing the impact a society/institute can have on an individuals choices later in life through the lens of their experience within Mormonism. They never attempt to gatekeep that it’s a unique thing Mormons go through. Ultimately she discusses a topic that encompasses all STEM industries at the moment, which is equal opportunity and free choice. As a result I’d argue it’s very topical for HN irrespective of the religion.
I think the major issue in this situation is that the loaned money effectively circulates back into Chinese hands, and all that the local economy gets in return is infrastructure that they will in a few years not be able to maintain or develop due to a lack of skill or resources.
So not only are none of the locals profiting from these projects, but more importantly no one is learning and developing the skills to construct and maintain the new infrastructure and services in the region.
This play by China (even if unintentional) is extremely predatory as it only makes the country more dependant on China.
In an ideal circumstance China would manage these projects while training and developing local talent to help develop the local industries. Only then do I believe would these deals be beneficial for Africa in the long run.
So you might believe these project are improving the local regions at the present, but I would be really interested to hear if you still believe so in 10 years.
You're forgetting the impact of getting the exported food to its destination so theres potential to reduce the over all footprint of food.
Secondly, having it be more distributed would also reduce the concentration of nitrogen at a local level (which doesnt have to be said the inpact it has on the local environment). So all in all its actually a relatively sound plan, how the Dutch government is going about it is maybe another story. But the fact still stands that this centralised agriculture system is just environmentally inefficien.
