I think this is all another way to say life is emergent. It can’t be found by zooming in, but rather only by zooming out. And of course when you zoom out you lose your ability to be very precise about definitions and constituents.
Giving optimistic estimates based on generalized vehicle information, then giving more precise estimates after the 50% mark—and after having collected usage information based on the user’s actual environment—sounds to me like a decent algorithmic solution to a hard problem.

One thing I never understood about Twitter, and what keeps me from tweeting, is why on earth everyone needs to see how many likes, replies, and retweets my tweet has? I will never be a Twitter influencer, and have no desire to be. I just want to tweet one-off learnings or thoughts I have without the awkward struggle of trying to compete with others.
This is interesting, but is essentially taking the present and multiplying it 10x. Which is never really how the future turns out, but always how humans think the future will turn out.
I'm often embarrassed by an opinion I held even 30 days ago. I just can't participate in modern "current events" or discourse because I too strongly consider both sides of an argument, whereas Twitter seems to be about blindly embracing one side and advocating for it relentlessly.
Building a "personal brand" helps create a following around you so that when you build something new, you have people that are interested in it. Maybe "audience" is the better word.

This is all of Twitter, pretty much. Most people's tweets are literally farts of the mind, yet they have no problem sharing them without the slightest feeling of self-consciousness. And it works for them, I guess. That's the whole point of Twitter.
This is silly. Since when is engineering competence measured by how few lines of code you write? Arguing about lines of code sounds like a topic a Hollywood TV show might broach to appease normies, when in reality the conversation is meaningless.

Right, conversations are usually triggered by back and forth reactions. Is the act of speaking propaganda? It could be, but usually it's to convey a thought you already hold.
