How typical of an antisemitic to immediately make it personal and blame a user that simply quoted the site's policy (which to remind you, is not yours to decide about) and violate the same policy by calling some poor user who has nothing to do with the topic "a Zionist."
Yes, everyone is a Zionist, the jews control the world, they kill Palestinians and use their blood to make Mazzas for Passover, we are sick of hearing it, besides being racist and antisemitic, it's boring, we hear this for thousands of years. please provide something new. that's was the purpose of that comment.

I found it very informative. It also has a section on "should you try solving the P vs. NP problem" and the answer is "not unless you have a lot of time, money, and though of something no one tried before, or is a math / CS professor"
I respect your honesty sharing what you really think, but I didn't read it this way, I read it as: "We spent so much time in it, and what I learned from it is how great it is to have friends do cool things together, and this is what keeps us going more than learning more CSS or JavaScript"
I think that's not cocky, and quite true. e.g. the reason they still do it, is because they enjoy the teamwork and community support, and that's the "lesson he learned" which is answering the question in the title of the post.
And besides, being the #1 project on GH and being used by any other startup out there gives him all the rights to be cocky if he wants to.
They are both deserving a BDFL title which gives you automatic immunity from being called cocky. Even if they are.
I think we all should just say thanks for building this, and nothing more, well, perhaps thanks to Twitter for not claiming the code. We all should aspire to do what fat and mdo did, build something out of passion, in our spare time, that will be freely available for everyone.
There is nothing that anyone can say, (including them) that will take it away from them. They belong in the hall of fame of FOSS and hacker spirit. This is true whether you like or don't like what they write in a blog post.
Ignore all the antisemitic and racist comments here, 90% of them belong to the same user, who also seems to supports the Syrian regime and claims it's not Asad bombing his own citizens but the CIA, and the other is probably from Norway if he uses the same user in twitter, linked-in etc, which will be surprising if he didn't say something completely ignorant of facts and nasty about Israel, all Jews there died in the Holocaust so there is no one left to defend the growing internal antisemitic propaganda promoted by the growing pro Palestinian immigrants.
Funny thing is that I really am for a Palestinian state and think that the settlements should stop, but I don't go and blabber all about it in HN in a low and disgraceful language.
