I needed something that lets me organize tasks and notes in a tree like manner, like Workflowy, but with proper documents and more text editing functionality, like Evernote, so I built it myself: https://flownote.io
Note taking and sketching software that aims to be as easy to use as a paper notebook, with the benefit that you can have a hierarchy of notebooks and you can share, search and export your notes. That's what makes it cool. It also has markdown support and a really clean user interface.
After getting some initial user feedback and then changing and fixing a few things, I'm mainly working on the UI at the moment.
You're right, I definitely need to work on the copy, and the landing page in general.
Evernote and Google Docs are both great, but their interfaces are too cluttered for me and using them simply doesn't come close to using a good paper notebook. It just isn't as delightful. A physical notebook has its own drawbacks however (don't want to carry another item around with me, it's difficult to organize it into different sections, etc.), so I knew I had to create a software solution. That's my vision for Flownote.
Note-taking/sketching SaaS. I don't have the time/skills to market it properly right now.
