I wrote my own blog engine in Python (https://github.com/betodealmeida/nefelibata). It generates static pages, but publishes a snippet to Twitter/Mastodon/etc., linking back to the blog post.

Reminded me of this story. I told a co-worker, while we worked on our DB:
- I wish we had the money to run Oracle.
- Are you crazy? Postgres is awesome and perfect for us!
- I know. I'm not saying "I wish we were running Oracle". I just wanted to have the money to do that. :)
There's also Ardour, which I use after starting in Ableton and going through Bitwig. I love Bitwig and its modular approach, but I really wanted to make music with open source software.
That's like saying "I'm anti-vax and feel good every time someone vaccinated gets COVID".
