Sorry to nitpick but I wouldn't call Hershey the "chocolate capital of the world". I don't think anyone outside America really eats Hershey chocolate, and it has a poor reputation. Try visiting Europe if you want good chocolate.
Most modern Catholics are ignorant to all the suffering their religion has caused. As are most people of all religions, otherwise they would abandon it.
Sadly though, most religious people take the writings about that "metaphorical vision" to be literal. Personally I think religion should be open to ridicule. The fact that some of the most powerful decision makers in the world (all US presidents so far, for example) believe / believed in some big man in the sky and allow teachings from 2000+ years ago (when the world was incredibly less civilised) to influence their decisions and behaviour, is quite frankly terrifying.
Being engulfed in a Leviathan (governed state) is a major contributing factor to what makes us civilised. We need a central government to enforce laws to stop us all killing each other. I personally don't want to live in a society where violent death is more likely than not. As for all property being public; where would be the motivation to work hard if you can bust your ass and still get the same money every month as lazy joe over there.
Why, at the adult age of 27, would you want to party and drink until 10am? What a waste of money and life, do something productive with your time! Partying until 10am is sad if you're older than 21, and I certainly don't see being able to do that as a gauge of how good life is at a certain age.
Chimps commit brutal murders of their own kind (is murder only murder when it's a killing of your own species?) and are very violent. Completely irrelevant to this story but thought I'd throw it in there.
