Not true. I was getting mass downvotes long before I started complaining about them. This whole thread is about a political and social issue.
My original points about AIPAC and Zionism is when it happened.
The people ghostdownvoting are diminishing the quality of discussion. Why would I get mass downvotes for stating that AIPAC and Zionism are logical reasons for modern day antisemitism? -63 now. Who are these people to disagree? How is their perspective better than mine?

I'd like everyone to know I'm at -53 just from my few comments alone (which most maxed to -4). Apparently the karma system on HN makes no sense as you can keep ghostdownvoting someone without reason, even after they've reached the lowest threshold of -4.
There also seems to be people that have a problem with someone pointing out reasons for modern day antisemitism. As my comments were definitely relevant I'd like to ask: what are these downvoters afraid of?
Assuming that OP hasn't been around for thousands of years himself, I could only point out modern day antisemitism which makes perfect sense. OP never asked for a complete history.
However, if you're going to get to the root of things, you'd have to bring up religious prejudices passed down through the centuries as well as the origin of money lending and banking which undoubtedly cast Jews in a bad light.
Except, er, so since AIPAC has only be around since 1963 and the concept of Zionism over 100 years, that couldn't possibly be a reason why people have a problem with Jews? shrugs
