I love how the comments just shit all over the author, but I guess that's true of every article on the web. It was just funny seeing how many were correcting him about the Star Wars reference, it was like a 20 comic-book guys getting sand in their vaginas.
It annoys me thoroughly that this stuff exists, but if some journalist is going to stick it to me anyways, at least I have a choice as to which strap-on their going to use.
I think you're giving them too much credit. They are just relying on the staunch Apple/Adobe designers who refuse to use anything but what they've always used (like an artistic VB developer). Also Apple people are used to saying "How high?" whenever their beloved says "Jump".

I enjoy thought provoking arguments as much as the next guy, but too many people seem like they just want something to be unreasonable about. And they act like children, in that they only scrutinize the process when their not getting their way. They just want to be a malcontent, and it appears pathetic to me. I'll be first in line when there's a revolution that isn't full of drum circles and free-loaders.
