I often wonder if it's in the best interest of humans to exterminate bats. Seems like it's only a matter of time until the next horrendous virus, created by bats, wreaks havoc.
It's because 98% of the people on here haven't actually used DeFi. The most they've done is bought and sold a little btc or eth on coinbase. The ah-ha moments come from real use.

How is this mud slinging article so high on hacker news? This guy is just like every other troll who attempts to forge a name for themselves by tearing down other people's hard work.
Just because seemingly rational humans wouldn't buy at such a price isn't the same as "no human would buy." I remember reading tweets of someone angry at coinbase because they bought a ton at $8000 and tried to sell at $9000 but was unable to. Bitfinexed makes a lot of outrageous leaps in logic.
A slower pace of life allows a person to focus more, in my opinion. I've lived in SV but I live in Tahoe now and get way more done programming from the mountains.
