I am glad that he purposefully calls out the balance between perseverance and a seemingly overnight success. This balance (or differentiation) is quite significant for anyone who is starting off. A week on TC and one would assume that raising money and releasing products is a matter of weeks if not days. But all good things (including wine) takes time to blosom.
Technology in education will create a much needed divide between instructions and interactions. Brick and mortar Universities will preserve the interaction model while tech companies will take over the pure instructional realm.
I haven't read the paper yet but I am tempted to believe that the actual placement of football by the kicker wax also considered i.e do striker kicks the ball in the corner disproportionately more.
Also, the utility curve of stopping the ball won't be a straight line. So goalkeeper might chose a high risk high reward scenario.
Seems the author agrees that the goalkeeper acts in an optimal fashion.
I have had a totally different experience actually. I would assume that the following will hold true for most of the people in the simplest form of the arguement:
The more i like the drink the faster and more i would drink it. I am an avid scotch drinker and have been a connoisseur for several years now and (unfortunately) the suggested practice would fail miserably for me and potentially for scotch-lovers.
