If you happen to do that before the end of November, please send me an email (it should be in my profile): I'd love to talk to you over coffee!
Can't see it in there. No plans to visit again yet but if you can arrange an underground tour then I may be tempted! :)

You can sometimes still go down just not past the radiation doors. https://goo.gl/photos/QwiF4EY8XuBBp8zm9 .
Some pics of one of my visits a few years ago in a snow storm: https://goo.gl/photos/926QKx3SgTxbR1vBA
And here a picture from inside ATLAS that I took at another visit: https://goo.gl/photos/Vp99nwLDqrovKfQM7
Either way the visit is well worth it.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Thanks for this. I had no idea this was possible. Changing my holiday plans as we speak.
That's awesome! Passing by Geneva in August and would have never thought about that.
I wonder if any of the C++ code I wrote in 2003-4 is still used.
Given my experience with academic coding (and in fact, some fleeting experience with cms stuff) I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
