This is clearly wrong as referenced by: http://isitbeeroclock.com/
Does this site have an API?
It's a shame the time isn't customisable. Where I work beer o'clock is normally 5.30.
Otherwise it's awesome

Noon NY? Or 5pm London? Either way I like how they're thinking.
It's telling me that beer o'clock will be at 10am. Not usually the time of day I go for a beer.
You should do because it's great:
* No queues at the bar
* lots of unique characters - many of whole will still be sober enough to pass their worldly insight onto you
* public transport will still be running by the time you stumble out of the pub again.

I always count myself fortunate to live in a city where public transport runs 24/7. The biggest challenge is staying awake long enough to get on the train, and then not sleeping past my stop and ending up in the Bronx.

Not in Boston. But then again, today isn't a bad day to just stay in the pub.

So, start early.
If you disrespect the beer o'clock, the beer fairy won't visit you anymore.

It's illegal to sell alcohol before 10am over here (UK).
So for many, 10am is most definitely the time for a beer. :P
Edit: okay, so off-licenced retailers specifically, child commenter - it just doesn't quite have the same ring to it (and off-licence probably isn't a known term outside the UK)

Not true. We have 24hour pubs.
The timezone support is a bit buggy unfortunately, I'll try and fix it tonight. But I agree with the comments below, it's always Beer O'clock really!
It's telling me 3AM Saturday morning in Brisbane. Something tells me it's a bit late to the party :)
Click customise and then select the alcopop. Nice little easter egg haha

That's cute, but it's a bit bizarre that you can customize the drink, but not the time :D
I know! Apparently my Beer hour is 30 minutes before I leave work.
I like it that for me beer o'clock coincides with the morning standup!
It's five o'clock somewhere: https://gist.github.com/quandyfactory/5421431
For those complaining about it being too late, try http://isitbeerti.me/ instead ;)
It's telling me to start drinking at 9am.
It's 17:35 and I see this http://cl.ly/OQTX It works. Cheers!
Although it's wrong for me (says Beer O'Clock is at 11AM), I accept it, because it's Friday...
It's Miller time!!!!! (but hopefully with a much better beer!!!)
Is that... lager? <shudders>
Yes, but thankfully there is a tiny "customize" button in the bottom right corner.
IT'S BEER O'CLOCK!
