What is startup.tv worth?

Domains, like anything else, are worth what someone is willing to pay for them :) There is no magic formula that can tell you what something will be "worth".
IMO/IME speculative domains that have been registered but just sitting idle have very low value. You haven't done anything to prove what kind of traffic they could get, or how they could be useful.
Sure, I can speculate some good ideas for "startup.tv", but at the same time I could come up with 80 other domain names just as good for the same idea. "startup.tv" itself has no significant value without something more to it. (this is true for any idle domain name, I'm not picking on yours specifically).
You're probably better off just holding them, on the really long chance that someday somebody will really want those specific names and make you a halfway decent offer. In the mean time, throw up a couple of simple pages, maybe some adwords stuff, and let them get a tiny bit of traffic.

In the right hands, startup.tv could make a bunch of cash.
mac.tv only has one obvious use: 24/7 live streaming MacGyver.

24/7 MacGyver? you have my click!
Why don't you package all three as an investment vehicle and sell bonds right here on hn? Since it was my idea, I choose to rate them AAA.
The important factors on buying/selling domains (IMHO) are:
* Is it .com?
* How much traffic does it get?
I think that unless you get one (ideally both) you really struggle to sell domains for more than their original cost. Unless you're really lucky, buy a quirky domain and someone _needs that domain_

Virtual real estates ... you never know when the boom is going to happen!
I can see the position of Mac as a consumer electronics brand has a lot of synergy with the name mac.tv, and moreover I could imagine some hardcore mac fanatic may buy it just for his love for the platform. Startup.tv has only geeky connotations, and Flex.tv doesn't evoke any responses (flex being little known beyond the developers world - Adobe, take notice).
Hmmm ... may be Adobe should buy flex.tv, Apple should buy mac.tv and YC should buy startup.tv to do a video version of HN.
are you asking to sell the domain or is it a project you want to sell?
I own startup.tv and would like to sell it to help fund the startup I'm currently bootstrapping. (The startup itself doesn't need a strong web-presence as we're delivering our service via network augmentation.)
I'm not much into the whole "domaining" thing, so I figured I'd ask the folks here three things:
1) Where's the best place to post the availability of the domain for sale?
2) What is it worth? (Even a ballpark would be useful.)
3) I also own mac.tv and flex.tv -- is it even worth it to try and sell these names? (Considering, I could be spending time on building out our demo/prototype instead.)
Thanks for all your thought and feedback!
