i use youtube every day for things like tutorials, recipes, philosophy, podcasts, etc. i enjoy learning visually but it's nice to have something to read and learn from as well.

so i built this tool that turns youtube videos into AI-generated notes.

main features:

- inline citations to jump directly to the relevant part of the video just like how Perplexity cites sources

- share notes with anyone

- save notes as PDF or markdown

I use youtube a lot for random research queries, but I hate going to youtube.com and seeing all the recos, shorts, etc.. This is a great idea for learning.

One suggestion: a more shareable-looking link when sharing the URL might help with user to user spreading.

Ok. I am impressed!

I fed a youtube Link to notebook LM and it came back saying: "This video cannot be imported. Transcript not available."

I fed it to swiftnotes.ai and worked like a champ.
