- After trying out many TODO lists wanted something that was super simple to use and share with family and friends

- Runs entirely on the browser. No servers involved other than for downloading HTML/CSS/JavaScript

- Sharing adds the contents of the list as URL query parameter which helps avoid need for a server. But limits size of lists that can be shared to around 2KB.

Why not use the Notes app?

Author here. There isn't a good way to share checklists from Notes app across platforms while preserving the ability to check items. The only requirement for Magic List is availability of a browser on the platform. Also wanted to make creating a list, managing multiple lists and sharing lists as frictionless as possible.
