The people who made the ads used whatever tools they usually use - so what? I don't expect all the camera operators on a McCain ad are Republicans, nor that Pepsi is banned from the canteen at Coca-Cola's ad agency.
I almost agree with you 100%. I've worked with an agency up in SF on a few projects for Adidas, and when the clients are coming in the word goes out banning Nike shoes for the day. So it does get that ridiculous sometimes, but the pc/mac war always drives me crazy.
I've worked at Microsoft before and I can tell you that a lot of people have Apple products. From iPhones to Macbooks and the like. That's the beauty of freedom.
I know people on the IE development team that use Macbooks (running OS X) as their primary machines - it doesn't mean a thing.
An ex coworker of mine worked at an ad agency that handled some MS stuff, and they had to use MS tools for a lot of things.
Perhaps off topic, but did anybody else have an impossible time trying to figure out exactly if/when that article ended? Was it at the video screenshots? The Gypsy cab thing? When the header text starts getting indented?
I haven't been this confused in... well, at least 10 minutes.

What a bunch of crap. Publish this stuff on Digg.
Not necessary... Daniel Eran Dilger has an army of Digg accounts, which he uses to Digg all own articles. Then he cross links to them on AppleInsider under the pen name "Prince McLean".
I wouldn't expect anything less from a guy with a Friendster photo album like this... http://www.friendster.com/viewphotos.php?a=0&uid=1033063

The point was, that for hackers this info is completely irrelevant so it doesnt belong here. They will use whatever to create ads and that's it. Let digg users or Walleywag to worry about it.
My post was an excuse to point out Dilger's unethical behavior ;)
Flagged. This is retarded linkbait.
No offense to bootload who has submitted tons of good stuff.

None taken.
Microsoft is a software company with a dud, second rate product trying to sell their latest products. I find the people-hacking attempts interesting because MS is trying to replicate past successful campaigns. It worked in '95 with the Start-it-up campaign with Windows '95 - saturation media to get the word out. MS & their marketing companies are trying to convince users emotionally rather than demonstrate the product is the best is counter to what Startups should do. I thought to just how hard they are trying might be interesting.

Yeah sorry - I think I might have overreacted because I was so sick of hearing about Microsoft/Seinfeld/Apple. The "parenthesis" thread comments some up my other thoughts pretty well.
Apple's revenues computed by PCs.
