If the MSRP of $400 is accurate and we don't get screwed over for way more in Europe (yeah, right) this may well end up being my first Smartphone. The iPhone seems nice and all, but €800 is a bit pricey for a phone.

Obviously, this all depends on Android actually working as promised.

I'm really enthusiastic about Android, but the way they've been rushing headlong into this makes me think that waiting for version two might be a good idea.

I guess that depends on how open it actually ends up being. If the software is largely open, problems should (hopefully) be fixed relatively quickly. I could imagine that that's not too popular with operators, but hopefully the unlocked version will be nice and open.

I wonder how useful this thing will be on AT&T. I'm not a big cell phone enthusiast, but I assume since T-Mobile is GSM, it'll actually work and be featureful, know?
