How could Medium benefit from blockchain, exactly?
I imaging could provide guarantees about the authenticity of the articles author and guard against plagiarism.
How would it guard against plagiarism? A blockchain can log the timestamp of a certain article, but there is still no proof that it was the first.
You could also accomplish the same thing (verifiable digital timestamp of a text) by emailing the article to multiple people through a major email provider like Gmail.
