Twitter is really, really stupid (Facebook too, of course). They have taken on the role of being the internet's savior. The best move would have been to ban people for one thing and one thing only: breaking the law.
But they are now arbiters of acceptable speech, and with that comes the unending push from every single interest group and their uncle to police things their way. Oops.
I can't wait until things like Holochain or other P2P systems make our current centralized communications platforms obsolete.
