My chrome browser does NOT allow access to thepiratebay.org website. However, I can still get to it from FireFox! I have tried this on three different computers!

Probably your Internet provider blocks the access, here it works just fine.
If you will encounter the same error in a few hours contact your Internet provider and ask them if thepiratebay is on their blocked list.

No it doesn't.
Which version? I'm running Beta 9 and it pulls up fine.
