Maybe I'm just an incredibly responsible person (I'm not), but I've had bluetooth earbuds (the Bragi Dash) for six months and not once have I come close to losing them. I take them out of my ears, they go into the case.

The AirPod has a lot riding against it in my opinion, but loseability is not one of those things.

If you're going to lose them, 3 pairs of AirPods is about the same price as one pair of incredible custom-molded IEMs. They'll also come with a cord, so you won't lose them. (and they won't sound terrible)

I'm confused why more highly-paid engineers working in terrible loud open-offices don't have these.
